An improved version of this illustration [link] . A wider range of colours were used to make it more vibrant and interesting along with new details while trying to maintain a discreet, although somewhat unearthly, look.

Hmm, I´m kind of divided on this.
Technicaly this is an great improvement and in my feeling especialy on her hair (with the new braids) and on her eyes wich benefit most of the sharper look.
The new waterdrops floating in the air set the suggestion of time standing still.

On the other hand it lost some part of the fragile/ghostly appearance compared to the prior version when I look at her skin and in particular at her lips.
In my opinion the old more bumpy lips transfered the mood of loneliness better than the straighter new ones (they look almost tempting in a way).

I hope this doesn´t sound negative in a way, I love both of these pictures.

Not at all, it's good observation. This version has lost some of the feeling that Surinen had described in a comment on the previous version. She does not look as 'pouty' anymore. Thanks for making a note about the skin, I'll keep it in mind in case I'll work on this picture even more in the future. I think it has potential to be tended to even further.
